Our Immersive #NewWorld

Our immersive #newworld

Well.

Where do I begin?

First of all, I hope everybody reading this is safe and healthy.  I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that the last four months have certainly been challenging in every respect – our lives and businesses have suffered more than we could ever have imagined.  Like most people in the world of entertainment I couldn’t (and still can’t) believe how quickly our industry shut down.  March 13th 2020, a day we have since called ‘Black Friday’, was undoubtably my lowest point as a company owner.

That said, this upheaval has given us a fantastic opportunity to spend time at home, with our families, taking a sabbatical we would never have taken voluntarily.  It has also given us time to reflect – time to reflect on things we would perhaps do differently, time to reflect on what we consider success and time to reflect on how we can improve.

As we come out of lockdown, emerging in to a #NewWorld, we will be re-learning processes that used to be instinct, having to carefully think about how we do things we have done a thousand times before.  Whilst we adapt our current business to this #NewWorld, meeting new and unknown challenges head-on, we also have a fantastic opportunity to not only change things, but to also break new ground.

It is at this point I am delighted to be able to invite you into our #NewWorld, a new arm of Full Productionfullyimmerse.me

newworld

fullyimmerse.me was actually born long before Covid-19 – We kept it relatively quiet whilst we figured out the finer details and used our time during lockdown to develop it to where we are today.

This week, we are launching the first of our new services; our Immersive Virtual Tours.  We are delighted to be able to show you, in collaboration with the lovely people at Version2, a tour we have produced for them of their fantastic new warehouse – The Old Grain Store.

We’re bringing our creativity, technology and attention-to-detail into an emerging industry which is transforming how people view businesses, properties and workspaces. The scope of fullyimmerse.me is huge, with demand for our services in the following sectors:

  •  – Property (sales, rental, development, holiday letting, serviced apartments or buildings).
  •  – Commercial and Retail buildings.
  •  – Arts, Exhibitions and Studio Spaces.
  •  – Educational Settings (nurseries, schools, colleges, universities).
  •  – Yachts, Watercraft and Aviation.
  •  – Healthcare

This blog post is only the beginning of our #NewWorld – there is a lot more to come from both Full Production and fullyimmerse.me in the next few months and we will of course be keeping you up to date on developments.

Please continue to stay safe, both at home and at work.

Thank you for reading…

Steve (and the Full Production team).

A message to our freelancers and suppliers in light of the Covid 19 pandemic….

A message to our freelancers and suppliers in light of the Covid 19 pandemic...

It goes without saying that the recent Covid 19 pandemic has brought severe and devastating disruption to the entertainment industry.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our freelancers and suppliers on a couple of points:

  • We have always managed our cashflow very carefully, and pride ourselves on never paying late.

    This won’t change.

We can 100% guarantee that all outstanding freelancer, subcontractor and supplier invoices will be paid in full and within the payment terms set out on the respective invoices.

  • We are still open for business and functioning as a company despite the cancellations and industry-wide slowdown.

    This won’t change.

Like you all, we have had a large number of cancelations and are working to rebook these for future dates. We also have a number of live projects which we are currently working very hard on the pre-production elements of – whilst it’s too early to estimate when, our intention is to carry on where we left off, in terms of site-based work, as soon as possible.

  • We will not be asking our freelancers or subcontractors to reduce their rates.

The most important thing for the foreseeable future is that we take care of ourselves, our families and those around us.  We are a family run business and you are all an integral part of our company. We sincerely hope we will all be able to weather the storm and be ready for the upturn when it comes. In the mean-time our phones and emails are on, please feel free to say hello and stay in touch.

Stay safe.
